Chris Harrington, Vice President
Full-service web development wasn't the first career choice for our Vice-President. At the age of 16, Chris did a voice demo for his church's radio station, WHCF in Bangor, Maine. They liked him, and Chris liked radio, so radio become his first career.

In the mid 1990's, Chris started assessing his career and realized that radio was not what he wanted to do for the "rest of his life". The Internet had just started coming into its own, and most radio stations didn't know what to do with this new media, so Chris was familiar with the struggles that radio was having with the "web".

Chris decided he would try to marry his former career with his new career choice - web development. In May 2000, he graduated with his degree in Internet Communications from New England Institute of Technology and immediately found himself in New York City working for R/GA Media Group.

As soon as Chris came on board at R/GA Media Group, he started working on the Nestlé Purina account as one of their site developers. Within months of being on the account, he become their lead developer.

In September 2001, Chris witnessed first hand the 9-11 attacks and decided to move back to Rhode Island, but he still maintained his "lead developer" status on the Nestlé Purina account as he telecommuted to the R/GA Media Group studios in NYC.

During his time at R/GA Media Group, he learned from the talent that they had gathered together, and in May 2005, he helped start Blue Ox Web Company in anticipation of running a full-service web development agency that serviced clients in New England.

In February 2007, Chris came on board "full-time" to run the day-to-day operations of Blue Ox Web Company.

By the way, once radio is "in your blood", it never leaves - Chris "Michaels" Harrington still does fill-in work at Country 102.5 WKLB in Boston.
